Learning is an ongoing process, we keep learning from our experience, people’s experience, and in today’s world availability of different platform with online business courses, expensive training workshops and mentor ship programs. But Reading is one of the key ingredients mentioned by successful people in their autobiography.
If you are an entrepreneur you must follow, what warren buffet has said!
“Risk Comes from not Knowing what You’re Doing.”
Reading good books has its own advantage, it helps you improve your vocabulary, your communication skills, your knowledge over the particular topics will improve and the more you read you will have more problem solving approach.
“To Earn More , You Must Learn More”
People always wondered, what influenced Steve Jobs to visit India? And what inspired him to be a more successful businessman,
According to Walter Issacson “The Autobiography of Yogi” has inspired Steve job for his India visit and when he returned he was a different man.
The beauty of reading a book repeatedly is that every time you gain something new from it. As you grow older, as you work harder as an entrepreneur everyday is a new experience, so when you read the same book again you will correlate yourself very well with the knowledge. This is one of the secret of successful people.
If you are an entrepreneur or a business owner there are so many things to learn to run a business successfully. If you’re in to entrepreneurship you do not have a second chance to learn from your own mistakes; because sometimes a single mistake could cost a whole project. Of course there is more than one way to learn what we need to know. We can learn it on our own through understanding the rise and falls of other businesses, mistakes committed by others; we can learn from other entrepreneurs through a coach or a mentor or an advisory board. This type of source of learning could cost you a fortune and it has its limitations, as these people are not always going to be available when we have to make vital decisions at crucial stage.
To become an entrepreneur is as easy as joining any course, but becoming a successful entrepreneur is not every one’s cup of tea. You need to have thorough knowledge of your business, your business model, your competitors, their business strategy, the rules, laws, system, time management, business management, marketing skills, current market trend, end users requirement, the product USP, coping up with the pressure, failure. Overall it’s a multitasking job with no pay.
“Beware of Small Expenses; a Small Leak will Sink a Great Ship”
So how you are going to achieve all these skills in short period of time, although you have a team who is going to perform their respective duties but in the end you will have to coordinate them in a proper way without letting them how novice you are.
As mentioned earlier, learning is an ongoing process, and always remember never hesitate in learning from your younger one because everyone has a different approach to solve the same problem.
“I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it”
In today’s world there are so many options available to increase your knowledge but according to Susan Wiggs
“You are Never alone When you’re Reading a Book”
Reading is the best way of gaining knowledge and making personal notes for future references. Reading allows us to:
- Broaden our Vision.
- Boosting our brain power and reducing stress.
- Helps you improve Problem solving approach.
- It inspires you.
- Gives an opportunity to learn from people who have triumphed against the odds and overcome huge challenges and become successful.
- They can be a source of inspiration, develop skills, and provide tips and business strategies.

Obviously we have to be selective about what we read. If we are planning to become an entrepreneur a businessman we can rely on we can’t read paltry novels and expect benefited from them.
“If you want to Walk Fast, Walk Alone. But if you want to Walk Far, Walk Together”
